b. After submitting your
application, you must send a
financial document or bank
statement to show that you
have enough funds to support
yourself at WPC.
c. Please remember that your
bank statement needs to be translated into US dollars.
When the application has
been received, the International Director will contact you with
further instructions!
2. What is the difference
between an international student and a community student?
-If you live
overseas and are in need of a student visa, you are an international
student.
-If you are currently an international student in another
program, and want to transfer to WPC, you would be considered an
international transfer student.
-If you are not a international student and need to improve your English,
you are a community student.
3. What is the process
for an international student to enroll at Western Pacific College?
Submit your application as soon as possible! You will be emailed
or called by phone to tell you the next steps for the process of being a
student at WPC.

5. How many
international students are there at WPC?
We have
approximately 25 to 50 international students from all over the world.
6. Is financial aid
available for international students?
Unfortunately we
have no financial aid for local, community, or international students. Students should be
prepared to pay all fees for their education and living expenses
.
7. Does WPC
require a TOEFL score?
No, but we do
offer TOEFL prep courses, including practice tests, as well as private tutoring for students who are interested in
transferring to a university requiring a TOEFL score.
We also are a
licensed TOEFL test site and offer exams on campus each month.

8. Do I have to
take WPC’s placement test and when do I take it?
Yes! Our carefully designed placement gives WPC the best way to
measure your English skills and advise you what level you should be in.
The test gives us knowledge of
your abilities in English.
Placement tests take place the same week you arrive and
before you begin taking regular classes.
9. How long does it take
to receive my I-20 form?
Very quick!
It only takes about 5
to 7 business days after WPC receives your application and fees.
