you are studying in by embracing its customs and language.
Homestay / Host
Family Residence
With this
option you will live with a local host family and experience life with them.
Meals are taken together, and you’ll be able to practice your English all the
time.
Speaking English every day in a friendly supportive environment is the best way to become fluent
in a language. Our host family coordinator places students in
carefully selected Portland homes where they can become part of the family and
enjoy the friendliness and hospitality Portland residents are
known for.
Accommodation
typically includes your own room, breakfast, sack lunch and
evening meals on weekdays and all meals on weekends. Each CSE host family is
carefully interviewed and each home inspected. Cost is $800.00 per month.
Home-stay application fee is $150.00.
